Are you a compulsive gambler?
The following questions were designed, in association with the European Casino Forum, to make gamblers think about them:
1 – Have you jeopardized very important relationships, your education, your job or your career due to gambling?
2 – When you’re on a losing streak, loosing consecutively, do you feel obsessed trying to recover what you lost in consecutive games?
3 – When you win do you have an uncontrollable urge to gamble again in order to win more?
4 – Do you usually gamble until you run out of money?
5 – Have you ever lied, stole or borrowed money to gamble?
6 – You don’t hesitate if you were ever to gamble the money meant for other things?
7 – Do you usually gamble longer than you intended to?
8 – Do you usually gamble to run away from problems, disappointments, or frustrations?
9 – Do you feel depressed or suicidal due to gambling?
10 – Have you ever sold any of your assets or other belongings to your relatives in order to gamble or pay gambling debts?
The more positive answers you get, the more likely you are having a serious problem with gambling. We advise you to talk to someone about it. And the sooner, the better.
